About Me

Hi, my name is Katie Whisenant. I am a speech-language pathologist with nine years of experience working with children in clinics and home health. I graduated in 2013 from Harding University with a B.A. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and in 2015 from the University of Alabama with an M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology. I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA and am licensed in the state of Tennessee. I love working with families to help facilitate the best communication outcomes for their children. I have a special interest in autism spectrum disorder, AAC, childhood apraxia of speech and other motor planning difficulties, and early intervention with ages birth-3. I would love to talk with you to see if I would be a good fit for your family.
